Before you begin, ensure you have all the necessary materials to complete the application. Once you exit the survey your application is submitted as is. If you are not finished completing the information and leave the SurveyMonkey application, you will not be able to return to where you left off and your application will be considered incomplete.

This scholarship is open to students who are currently in a graduate degree program at the University of Saskatchewan and whose studies and/or research relate to Ukrainian studies. Students must be pursuing their studies and/or research through a department associated with either the College of Education or the College of Arts & Science.

Students who have not yet started their graduate program at the time of application will not be considered.

Selection will be made on the basis of academic achievement as determined by the Graduate Awards Committee. Minimum acceptable GPA is 80%.

The following documents are required for this competition:
  • A letter describing your program of study and how it relates to Ukrainian studies
  • Your up-to-date CV
  • You unofficial USask transcripts (all levels)
A letter of reference from either your supervisor or someone who can attest to your program of study is required and should describe how your program of study relates to Ukrainian studies. Have the letter forwarded to gradstudies.awards@usask.ca.
